About Me

I’m Josh, a fourth year student at ANU studying a Bachelor of Engineering. I grew up in Tathra on the far south coast of NSW, and relocated to Canberra in 2016 to continue my studies.

During my time in Tathra, I volunteered extensively with the Tathra Surf Life Saving Club, and the Tathra Mountain Bike Club, which were great as I learnt a lot of practical skills, whilst being able to give back to the community. I also worked as a Bike Mechanic at Tathra Beach and Bike, which allowed me to work on bikes all day, whist being heavily involved with the local mountain biking scene.

Since relocating to Canberra, I have worked part time as a Mechanic and Sales Assistant at ONYA Bike Canberra alongside my studies, and more recently have been getting a taste of the real world through internships in the areas of Electronic and RF Engineering.  In 2020 I’ll be moving down to Melbourne to begin a full time engineering role in the automotive sector. When I have free time, I work on / ride my bikes and spend far too much time playing with electronics.

My Resume can be found here if you would like a more in depth read of what I have gotten up to.
